In the performance, the body becomes both means and subject of research. In photo performances, i.e. without a live audience, the artist is free to experiment with the approach of divergent starting points.
Mirrored shows works by 50 artists from 15 countries. The Mirrored exhibition was curated by Helinä Hukkataival, artist; Anna-Kaisa Rastenberger, Chief Curator of the Finnish Photo Museum; and Timo Soppela, director of MUU.
Mirrored is presented at the MUU Helsinki Contemporary Art Center in the Cable Factory, the exhibition is part of MUU's A Month of Performances program.
I participate in the exhibition with two photos from the Leave series.
In de performance wordt het lichaam zowel middel als onderwerp van onderzoek. In foto-performances, dus zonder aanwezig publiek, is de kunstenaar vrij om te experimenteren met de aanpak van uiteenlopende uitgangspunten.
Mirrored toont werken van 50 kunstenaars uit 15 landen. Mirrored werd samengesteld door Helinä Hukkataival, kunstenaar; Anna-Kaisa Rastenberger, hoofdconservator van het Finse Fotomuseum; en Timo Soppela, directeur van MUU.
Mirrored wordt gepresenteerd in het MUU Helsinki Contemporary Art Center in de Cable Factory, de tentoonstelling maakt deel uit van MUU's A Month of Performances-programma.
Ik neem deel aan de tentoonstelling met twee foto's uit de serie Leave.
A Scene #29: the real world
On Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 2:20 PM (UTC + 1) I was at the door of a house, Grotekersbuurt 36, in Dordrecht, the Netherlands (lat: 51.813892, long: 4.66324, alt: 0).
On the door was a poster, showing the exact location, date and time.
I stayed there until the time runned out.

Route de Maumont
For most of the participants, Maumont proved to be an impossible destination. We could only approach it by means of our imagination. Knowing the village for so long, I created a walking route to show the real Maumont from a distance in seven photo positions. As soon as we can travel again, we could walk this route to emphasize and celebrate the long unattainable heart of our project.
On Momon.fr the walking route Route de Maumont is available in French, English and Dutch.
On a mobile phone the file is downloadable for offline use.

We hebben een virtuele kolonie gecreëerd. Het domein momon.fr is de nieuwe locatie, nieuwe basis, nieuw origineel. Ik neem deel aan La Biennale de Momon met het werk Route de Maumont.
Route de Maumont
Voor de meeste van de deelnemers bleek Maumont een onmogelijke bestemming te zijn. We konden het nog slechts benaderen met onze verbeelding. Omdat ik als enige het dorp al zo lang ken, heb ik een wandelroute gemaakt om de echte Maumont van een afstand te laten zien in zeven fotoposities. Zodra we weer kunnen reizen, zouden we deze route kunnen lopen om het lange onbereikbare hart van ons project te benadrukken en te vieren.
Op Momon.fr is de wandelroute Route de Maumont beschikbaar in het Frans, Engels en Nederlands.
Op een mobiele telefoon kunt u het bestand ook downloaden voor offline gebruik.

2e Nieuwstraat Festival
In June 2020 I organised a festival for unnoticed art in the street where I live, the Nieuwstraat in Dordrecht, the Netherlands. Soon there will be a second festival.
On an undisclosed day in May 2021, the 2e Nieuwstraat Festival will take place between sunrise and sunset. The performances in this festival will be performed by volunteers, unannounced and without explanation.
They take place in the everyday environment and hide the unusual within the ordinary. Passers-by will perceive the actions, but may not recognize them as art.
In juni 2020 organiseerde ik een festival voor onopgemerkte kunst in de straat waar ik woon, de Nieuwstraat in Dordrecht. Binnenkort komt er een tweede festival.
Op een onverwachte dag in mei 2021 vindt tussen zonsopgang en zonsondergang het 2e Nieuwstraat Festival plaats. De optredens op dit festival worden door vrijwilligers uitgevoerd, onaangekondigd en zonder uitleg. Ze vinden plaats in de alledaagse omgeving en verbergen het ongewone in het gewone. Voorbijgangers zullen de acties waarnemen, maar herkennen ze misschien niet als kunst.

Residency at AADK, Blanca, Murcia, Spain
In the months October and November 2021, I will be working in residency at the AADK in Murcia (Spain).
My personal research-project will be: Subjective Topography,
space as dairy.
It will be developed
as part of the AADK-project: Body, Territory and Spatiality.
In de maanden oktober en november 2021, zal ik werken in residency bij het AADK in Murcia (Spanje).

ruimte als dagboek.

The Rockbottom
The Rockbottom is a photographic print offered at a special price, presented at the bottom of each new maling.
This work measures 22,5 x 30 cm and is printed in Fine Art quality on Hahnemühle Photo Rag (310 gr).
A print costs €150,- including VAT, excluding shipping.
The edition is determined by the number of orders, within two weeks from the date of this mailing.
